Delete digital records when associated item is dispositioned

Controls whether Gimmal Records will delete the metadata record in the application related to an item that has been dispositioned.

When enabled, and a source records is dispositioned:

  • The Gimmal Physical record is (soft) deleted

  • Any associated Gimmal Physical Digital Content (i.e. eDocs) records are (soft) deleted

  • The actual eDoc file is (hard) deleted
