SharePoint Online Connector (6.1.1)

These articles describe the setup and deployment for the SPOC 6.1.1 Connector. It can only be deployed with Gimmal Records Core 6.0.1 and above.
Version 6.1 and above of the SharePoint Online Connector (SPOC) uses Modern Authentication.
The previous authentication model used in SPOC 6.0 and prior versions will be retired by Microsoft in April 2026.
It is imperative that all upgrades are completed before April, 2026.
End of Support for In-Place Records Management (IPRM)
Version 6.1.1 and above of the SharePoint Online Connector (SPOC) offers label-based record locking. This option is only available for customers with Microsoft E5 licenses.
If your organization is currently using Purview retention labels for any purposes, do not enable label-based retention without first speaking with our subject matter experts.
Microsoft has indicated that IPRM will remain functional, but unsupported, after the April 2026 deadline.
