Document Center

Gimmal's Document Center improves document library usability and makes it easier to effectively govern library provisioning and configuration. The Document Center Help consists of a Feature-Activated (FA) and Provider-Hosted (PH) version. Click the folder for the desired environment to see the related configuration information.

Document Center Web Parts

The Library Tile View and the Library List Navigation web parts (shown below) are added to the host site's web part gallery when you activated the Gimmal – Document Center feature during the installation process.

Library Tile View Web Part

The Library Tile View web part displays useful information about a library's content, such as document count, content types in the library, checked out documents, and recently published document count. Refer to Configuring Document Center Web Parts for more information.

Library Navigation Web Part 

The Library List Navigation web part provides a way to order, show, or hide library tiles within the Library Tile View web part. Refer to Configuring Document Center Web Parts for more information.

Integration with Governance Hub

Document Center is integrated with Gimmal's Governance Hub, which is a mandatory prerequisite for installing Document Center.
