September 2024 Release

The Gimmal Discover September release includes a new feature allowing clients who use the Data Owner retention feature to extend the wrap-up (or due) date providing more time for a specific Data Owner to review the items on their report. The extension feature can be found in the All Owners Reports section of the Data Governance module.

Select a report then use the More option to open the View Owner Activity link

Select one of the Data Owners for the report and use the More option to access the Select New Case Wrap-up Start Date link:

Then supply a new wrap-up date for the selected Data Owner Retention user. Any email notifications that have been added on the User Retention tab in the Discover settings will be suspended until the new wrap-up start date is reached

This extension will not impact the wrap-up dates for any other data owner included in the report.
