Release Notes (SPOC Conversion Utility 1.0)

New Release

This is the initial release of the SharePoint Online Retention Conversion Utility (SPORCU). This tool identifies SharePoint Online records managed by Gimmal Records that are currently locked using SharePoint’s In‑Place Records Management (IPRM) and converts them to use Microsoft Purview retention labels instead.

This tool is for customers who host their own instance of the SharePoint Online Connector (SPOC).It is intended only for customers who use the features to lock records. It should be used once your organization has decided to move from IPRM to Purview label-based record-locking in Gimmal Records.
