Installation Guide

Gimmal Link can be installed on a standalone system or as part of a SharePoint Web Front-End. The following procedures must be performed on each Gimmal Link server that is part of your implementation.

If you are upgrading to Gimmal Link 5.7.1 from an earlier release, you must perform the steps in section Uninstalling Older Versions. Then, continue to section Installing Gimmal Link (Legacy) to perform the installation steps.

If you are performing a "greenfield" installation (a net new installation where no Gimmal products have previously been installed), skip to section Installing Gimmal Link (Legacy).
