Enabling Anonymous Authentication

  1. Open the IIS Manager by navigating to the Windows Control Panel, selecting Administrative Tools, and then selecting Internet Information Services Manager.

  2. Select the same site that you selected when Installing Gimmal Link (Legacy).

  3. Double-click Authentication in the right pane. The Enable Authentication pane displays.

  4. Select Anonymous Authentication and ensure that Enabled displays in the Status column.

    Note: If Disabled displays, right-click it and select Edit from the dropdown menu that displays. The Edit Anonymous Authentication Credentials dialog box displays.

  5. Select Application pool identity and click OK.
