Who Should Use this Guide

The intended audience for this document consists of end-users of Gimmal's Provisioning product, where the product has previously been installed and configured. The Provisioning Administrator must have configured the Provisioning definitions according to the steps in the Feature-Activated or Provide-Hosted Configuration section before users can provision a site or site collection using this application.

Provisioning Roles

There are three possible roles available for the Provisioning product:

• IT Administrator: Installs and configures Provisioning for your organization's needs
• Provisioning Administrator: Creates reusable site/site collection definitions that are used by end-users who make requests for a site/site collection
• User: Requests a new site/site collection using the definitions created by the Provisioning Administrator
