SharePoint Online Connector (SPOC)
Modern Authentication
The SharePoint Online Connector has been updated to support the newer modern authentication using Microsoft Entra ID app registrations. Please use the following links for additional details:
Deploying App Packages (only required if you are using the ‘Manage Records’ button)
Note:
The Add-In model will no longer be supported for authentication for Gimmal Cloud deployments.
All site registrations will now be configured in the SPOC Web Portal. Your existing registrations will automatically be migrated to the new interface.
The App Package is no longer needed for managing registrations. However the new App Package will need to be installed if the ‘Manage Record' button is in active use.
Update Manage Records Redirect
The Manage Records button will now point to the Records Over view page.
Note: If your organization utilizes the Manage Records button, you will need to deploy the new App Package to each site (unless you are using the tenant-wide option). Please see details here.
